Saturday and Next Week
Remember, this is a ‘long month’ that lasts 5 weeks. I’ve scattered the extra days off throughout the month and I’ll still teach Step on the days I take off.  We won’t have training tomorrow, Sat Mar 18, next Wed Mar 22 and next Fri Mar 24. Please use your key and come on down and get a workout in anyway!

ZUMBA NEXT WEEK

This was our last week for Yoga at 430 on T/Th. Starting next week Evelyn will teach Zumba every Tues/Thurs at 430 pm and will continue to alternate MW 935 with Jen teaching Yoga. A big thanks to Jen for giving the Yoga class a shot in the afternoons. Remember to show up if you want your favorite classes to continue.

Peanut butter balls

I imagine you can substitute chickpeas in this recipe if you prefer them.

·    1 can (15 ounces) great northern beans (drained and rinsed)

·    1/3 cup honey

·    1 tablespoon vanilla

·    1 1/4 cups peanut butter

·    1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. 1Mash the great northern beans with a fork in a bowl until smooth.
  2. 2Add the honey and vanilla. Stir.
  3. 3Add peanut butter. Stir until blended.
  4. 4Stir in the oatmeal.
  5. 5Wash hands. Use a tablespoon to scoop up some of the peanut butter mixture. Shape the mixture into balls (makes 50 balls).
  1. 6Store leftover balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
