TOMORROW AND THIS WEEK
Plan on all regular training and aerobics the rest of this week and most of next. Sarah returns on Monday September 13, yay!
ONE IN 5,000? or 10,000?
A really great article to help those with ‘covid anxiety’ …. if you’re vaccinated and especially if you’re wearing a mask, your risk of severe sickness is very low. We’re following suggested protocols at our gym, so if you’re worried, it’s really the best place to be. I’ve also attached a screenshot from a Las Cruces Sun reporter for those who want to see the percentages of cases/hospitalizations/deaths among vaccinated or nonvaccinated in NM this week.
“…there is no ‘correct’ response to Covid. Different people respond to risk differently….
In reality, the risks of getting any version of the virus remain small for the vaccinated, and the risks of getting badly sick remain minuscule.
In Seattle on an average recent day, about one out of every one million vaccinated residents have been admitted to a hospital with Covid symptoms. That risk is so close to zero that the human mind can’t easily process it. My best attempt is to say that the Covid risks for most vaccinated people are of the same order of magnitude as risks that people unthinkingly accept every day, like riding in a vehicle.’ www.nytimes.com

KITTEN NEEDS A HOME
From a former client:
“We befriended a young cat that has been living behind our radio station for a year and a half. Finally, after the last two months, she has become very tame, loving, and has such a very sweet personality. We did not want her to face another cold , Winter so we took her to Kitty city in hopes she would find a loving home. They are wonderful out there but they are so overloaded with cats I’m afraid it may be a while before she’s adopted. She is so sweet and so beautiful and so kind. If you or you know someone who can take in a beautiful kitty please let me know.
Her name is Liza and she’s been spayed has all her shots.”
