FitGuy is based on a proven weight loss and muscle-strengthening program. Guided by a personal trainer, you’ll do free-weight strengthening and fat-burning exercises guaranteed to bring fast progress.

Maybe you are not comfortable working out next to the strongest guy in the gym. Perhaps working out around women makes you self-conscious about your waistline or your strength levels. Now you can attend a semi-private session with trainers that will help you work on your specific goals without the gym scene.

FitGuy is payable in full at the start of the 4-week program (total $139* includes tax). These sessions are priced at 1/5 the cost of one-on-one sessions. Payment plans are available.

HOW IS MY PROGRESS MEASURED?
Weight – Most clients lose 3-4 lbs fat and gain several pounds of muscle the first month.
Knowledge – As a FitGuy student you will learn how to exercise correctly and understand better how your body works.
Self Esteem – It’s not just about how your belt fits! Your confidence levels and how you feel about yourself are even more important.

WHEN DOES FITGUY MEET?
Currently, FitGuy includes our Coed training so clients meet every day. Each session is 55 minutes, which includes a 5 minute warmup and another 5 minutes to stretch, so about 45 minutes of actual work, but it is nonstop so it gets your heart rate up and good pump in your muscles.
Guys, don’t worry about showing up early for your session….right on time is fine because we like to clear the girls out first!

The TRX and RipTrainer videos will give you a sense of the equipment, but not of the difficulty of the exercises, haha! We focus a lot on core strength, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), battling ropes, boxing bags, cone drills, etc, to increase your cardiovascular capacity, but as you can see we can also haul a lot of weight through traditional squats, deadlifts, curls, pullups, etc.

The before picture was 50 lbs ago at the end of my junior year, but then I got bigger over the summer….I was sick of being the fat kid at school. I couldn’t finish up my senior year in football because of a spine fracture. The doctor said I needed to strengthen my core and so I started personal training with Rosemarie. She helped me lose almost 50 pounds and drop from a 38 to a 32 waist. I’m a lifeguard during the summer and it feels good to have a stronger body and tighter abs. Personal training helped me recover my back, and the food diary tracking helped me see the importance of good nutrition. During this time the only sport I could compete in was the swim team so I did that.
Personal training really did help me jump start my whole weight loss journey, helping me lose weight and it got my back get in shape to start a new adventure for the swim team. Later I did a month of the Teen Athlete Training with Rosemarie and Amanda, which is how FitGuy got started. During that time I got even stronger and faster, running 12 mph at a 3% incline, increasing my push-ups, pull-ups, dips, and improving my footwork for sports.
