MARCH TRAINING

March will be a ‘long month’ where we work out for 5 weeks total but take off extra days; you’ll still get 4 total weeks of training and if you come in for the extra days you’ll really get your money’s worth! We usually still have 6 am Coed training on cancelled days and all our regular aerobics/yoga, but this month Jake will need to take off Mon Mar 1st and 15th, so please note those dates on your calendar. We’ll send out the remaining cancelled days next week. The first two days off will be Sat/Sun March 6 & 7….Please come to aerobics on those days.

New Coed Times for March

We played around with this during the past week and it seems like it will work well, so we are making the TTHFri 530 pm sessions coed (the MWF 6 am sessions already are).  If this is a problem for you let me know asap as we have limited room in our MWF 430 pm sessions.

TOWELS AND TIPS

It’s not a good idea to use community towels for cleaning the equipment. While we do have some available in the event you forget yours, please make an effort to bring your own small handtowel for disinfecting the equipment you use.

Please maintain good posture (head up, chest out, shoulders down and back) while doing almost every exercise. Especially now, with many people sitting at computers for work, we need to reinforce good posture. If you are working your upper body muscles with your shoulders rounded and your head down you are going to train those muscles to be strong in that position. We want to get you stronger and better!

EGGS

WHY MASKS, DISTANCING, AND VACCINES WILL STILL MATTER FOR A LONG TIME

“The less the virus spreads, the fewer opportunities it has to evolve.” While many are hopeful that a return to normalcy could happen as early as Christmas, the virus’s known ability to mutate means that mitigation efforts will need to continue. NM’s ‘red to green’ plan can allow for communities to adjust to surges in contamination so that in the future assumption of risk can be managed in a sensible manner.
